Dentures
What are dentures?
Dentures are a removable prosthetic appliance fabricated to replace missing teeth and their adjacent tissues.
Different types of dentures include:
- Complete dentures
- This type of denture replaces all of the teeth and their adjacent tissues.
- Removable partial dentures
- Removable partial dentures replace missing teeth and use the remaining natural teeth as anchors.
- Implant retained overdenture
- A removable appliance that incorporates the use of multiple implants to serve as anchors, helping to hold the partial or complete denture in place for a more natural looking smile and a more confident and comfortable result.
Overdentures
Dentures that clip onto a substructure over natural teeth or implants.
