Dr Bahoff graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in 1977 and immediately joined his father in practice. Dr. Bahoff became active in organized dentistry while still in dental school. He has served twice as President of Eastern Dental Society of Philadelphia and is the past vice-president of the Pennsylvania Dental Association. He received his Fellowship from the Academy of General Dentistry in 1996, and has extensive experience in prosthetic, cosmetic and implant dentistry. Dr. Bahoff has lectured on Cosmetic and Reconstructive dentistry as well as Implant Dentistry.
In addition to his extensive experience in all phases of dentistry, Dr. Bahoff has been involved in multiple community organizations, including Big Brother's of America, where he mentored a young boy for 11 years.
Dr. Bahoff has welcomed his nephew, Dr. Jesse Schaffzin, and Jesse's wife Dr. Susan Callejas as third generation into his family practice, one of the oldest family practices in Philadelphia! |

Dr. Jesse Schaffzin, a native of Cheltenham, PA, joined Dr. Bahoff in 2007. Dr. Schaffzin earned his degree from Nova Southeastern College of Dental Medicine and received post graduate training at the prestigious general practice residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center. His extensive continuing education includes courses in cosmetic dentistry, implant restorations, porcelain veneers and root canal therapy. Dr. Schaffzin is an active leader in various local and national dental associations, including the AGD, and Eastern Dental Society. In his private practice, Dr. Schaffzin enjoys building strong, personal relationships, working with each individual patient to achieve their goal of a beautiful, healthy smile. |
Dr. Susan Callejas, D.M.D. |
Dr. Susan Callejas is the most recent member to join our team. After receiving her degree from Nova Southeastern College of Dental Medicine, she attended the Advanced Education General Practice Residency at UMDNJ. After a few years of private practice on the West Coast of Florida, Dr. Callejas returned to Philadelphia to be a part of her family's dental practice, one of the oldest continued family practices in the city. Dr. Callejas makes it a point to keep up with the most modern techniques and up to date procedures through her involvement in multiple study clubs and dental associations. |
